Well, corny as it sounds, that was super. :)

Reminds me of an interview I heard with Kingdom Come writer Mark Waid for the podcast "Word Balloon". The passion with which he talks about Superman makes you feel weak in the knees.

I have heard that interview. As you know I think Kingdom Come is the single greatest Superman/Superhero story of all time. The little touches are brilliant. Do you realize that for a dark and grim guy, Bruce does more smiling than he did in 70 years of Batman comics. And those final pages that take the story to it's conclusion 1000 years into the future to the launching of the Legion of Superheroes is brilliant. Few people get the chance to finish off the story like that. I have a radio play done on TWO CASSETTES with voice actors and sound effects like an old timey radio play. Fantastic. For me the animated film is a holy grail.

And you can't tell me that smile on Christophers face at the end just gives you goosebumps.
