Nazi Submarines trapped in the Arctic Ice? A prophesy to end the world? Secrets hidden in clocks? Freaky Nazi Demon Child? Overwrought dialog and hammy overacting? I see ABC is trying to seduce me again. This one has a 'holy shit' moment at the end that is a real sweet payoff if you pay attention through the pilot. I know that this series, like all of them, will become lost in it's own mythology but for once in a long time I felt chills, and SURPRISE which for me is a rare thing. I kinda want to see where this one goes.

We Watched it last night. Looks good. Very melodramatic with the religious hocus pocus and stuff. I still don't see why he kept that guy's wife after he had the diamond, but I guess it needed a protagonist to be the hero. I gotta say, that skeptic newspaper he ran and his two employees are real go-getters. Taveling to Bulgaria at the drop of a hat. They must have a large expense account.
3 people run a magazine profitable enough to send them all over the world at the drop of a hat without having to use their airmiles. I knew when the wife was left alive that she is in on the whole thing. She is a part of the dark side of this conspiracy. A women who fixes clocks...in the big city. Oh sure. But the discover in the sub has a nice Boys of Brazil feel to it.
