Someone Living In A Colder Neighborhood Than You

A man walks through a courtyard in Yakutsk.

I could run off and brag about living in Igaluit, Nunivat above the Arctic circle on the southern end of Baffin Island and surviving temperatures greater than -60 degrees Celcius but I told those stories many times before.

If you follow the link you can see pictures of another of the coldest places on the planet. Ykutsk, which had Aaaron over at Electronic Celebrectomy say, "This must be why it's always so hard to take Yakutsk while playing Risk."

I've lived in the north. I've experienced -40 temperatures (-80 with the windchill) but these pictures made me shiver. That's just too freakin' cold!

It's pretty bad when the one thing you export is ICE.
