An official announcement of Cranston’s casting will apparently be scheduled for after Breaking Bad finishes in order for the news to ride the wave of the finale, say Cosmic Book News.
A source told the website: ‘Cranston truly is a dream casting for Luthor’.

You mean the actor who plays a bald bad guy on TV will be playing the bald bad guy in the movies? Perish the thought!
I heard that Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum is looking to reprise his role as Lex. Sadly, it reminds me of the hissy fit that Jack Nicholson threw about not being asked to reprise the Joker for "The Dark Knight". Guys, you were good in your respective performances but they want someone without the "done this before" baggage.
