I Don't Believe There Are 64 Colors of Crayons

You only need 12 crayons to color everything.

They used to have real colors but now it's just made up shit like "Mac-n-cheese" and "razzle dazzle pink". Kids today have no idea what taupe, mauve and terra cotta are.

Burnt Sienna can be substituted with Brown. There. Done. Maybe if you were a professional artist you would need SHADES of colors but anyone who USES crayons needs no more than 12.

There is an infinite number of colors, but not all of them are different enough for the human eye to discern.

Thus 12 colors are all you need.
