Into The Badlands - Episode 3 Of 6

 

 

The opening battle between the Baron and the Widow is another epic example of the superior fight choreography at the heart of this show. In a world without gun, what do you do to protect yourself? You learn to fight with swords and if you want to live, you learn to fight well.

 

The kid has been taken on as Sonny's COLT and the two of them are starting to plan their escape. The kid of course isn't making it easy by being belligerent at every turn. I just want him to get with the program before he messes up this escape for everyone.

There is a great lesson teaching fight between an old Clipper in a wheelchair and our young colt that has to be seen to be believed. The fight choreography continues to amaze and impress me. It really roots this story in it's own world - one that can be totally believed. I am fascinated by every part of it I  DON'T know about. I like how the show keeps it's secrets close to it's chest.
