Kanye Is Such A Goof

So mocking him makes me laugh big time.

"Goof" as in "douche bag"?

This is just classic! Kanye is such a worthless douche of a human being -- and as a musician. I've never understood all of the Grammys. The only explanation that makes any sense is that they were afraid that if they didn't give it to him he'd throw a tantrum. (And it sounds like even that won't work anymore.) Every time I forced to watch him "perform", I have to repeatedly wonder WTF is so great about his so-called "music". Yoko Ono made better "music" than Kanye and she sounds like a mash-up of fingernails on a blackboard, a screeching harpy and a pterodactyl being murdered. About time folks are starting to recognize this buffoon is completely talentless and is worthy only of our ridicule.

I watched him do a song on SNL once that I thought was over produced but kinda brilliant. I think if he got out his own way he might be something. But he will always be his own worse enemy and his fall will be the best kind of Shaundenfreud. I want to bootleg his album just to steal from him and delete before listening too.

I've seen him several times on SNL as well as other shows and televised festival concerts like Live 8. I think you must be referring to the thing he did on SNL a few years ago that was all auto-tune and him interpretive dancing as a silhouette in front of a backdrop. He did both songs that way that night as I recall. I had a different reaction and was less than impressed by it. I've seen better performances at high school talent shows. And given that there was no way to tell if he was even "singing" it was probably just a recorded track anyway. Definitely nothing there to change my opinion that he's an over-rated hack.

If that SNL impressed me and it was crap then I am so glad I don't know more of his music (?) if that is what you can call it. The Grammies really show how much music has changed and not for the better. He is not as revolutionary as he thinks he can be.
