I saved this until tonight to share with you because I just got paid by the girl who left my place five minutes ago. She asked me if she could buy it early last Sunday night. She met my price so I did the deal. It feels good to have the first sale under my belt. It's a good sign.

I Made My First Sale
1990 Collected Volume One of the very first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics. Printed in black and white like Eastman and Laird originally created the work, it has 540 pages of art and story in one softcover book. It would cost hundreds to collect the original issues since they were printed in such low quantities back in the 80s when the Turtles were first envisioned. This collection is a birthday gift to a guy who is a big fan and was bought by his girlfriend who had no problem with my 30 dollars asking price. Again. Hard to see it go but I have read it many times and I am happy this is going to a fan who will appreciate the age, the condition and the significance of this volume. Any fan of the Turtles would be happy to have it.

That's great! Someone's gonna have a wonderful birthday surprise!
Good deal. A person that appreciates what she's getting and willing to pay a fair price. A rare find when dealing with yard sale type scenarios. He's going to be a happy camper.
And that is my attitude. I have read this many times. Time to share it with the world. It's a nice piece.
