I totally agree. It begins and ends with this freak. This kid is one of the biggest villains in literary history. I HATE this book. I hate the story. I hate the little movie that every priest has shown us over the years. I just feel guilty for every eating an apple or using anything made of wood. I don't want to give to anyone after seeing this story. I just want to crush this kid with a heavy branch the second he shows up in my forest.
