I used to have snails in my garden. Learned how to cook them and ate them. Plague is gone now. I miss eating snails.

You ever watch bizarre foods with Andrew Zimmern? That one episode where they farm snail eggs still freaks me out.
I believe I have seen this phenom in the southern U.S. Never could get anyone interested in researching it. Garden snails climb almost any object before heavy rains, and attach themselves and seal their shells shut. They could be wrong -- storms might pass a hundred miles away -- but there was always something nearby, within a day or two. The little dudes know ... and they don't drown.
Look to the snails people...LOOK TO THE SNAILS!
