Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever

You can cancel next year's Emmy Awards because the big prize has been won already by Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever which has the distinction of being just as wonderfully awful as I hoped it could be. There was only one way that this film could have been made and that is to point out how ridiculous the idea was in the first place and keep repeating that fact over and over again. In fact, hammer that fact home in case we forget for a second how cynical the whole operation is. That, of course, is perfect for my inner Scrooge.

Regardless of any negative feelings you may have towards the movie, there’s no more aggressive critic than the star herself, who regularly interjects her displeasure with its many flaws. That brand of self-awareness is alive and well throughout the entire movie, including this prophetic quip: “Please, like the Lifetime execs would blow their chance at a sequel.”
