Let Me See Inside!

When I was a kid I loved any models that showed the internal workings of anything from sea creatures to the hollow man and women models that they sold to us at the toy store. At the doctor's office I could take apart and put back together most of the models he had. The ear one was toughest with all its tiny parts but I would treat it like I was solving a Rubbicks's Cube puzzle and it was a speed event. It got so bad that the doctor on the base had to put away his models when I showed because he knew that breaking my attention away from them would have been impossible. In college and universtity I always tried to arrive to my labs early so I could play around with the eye model or the uterus one since you always got the tiny fetus to stick back the right way. When I taught science we had both a life sized skeleton model and one that had all the major organs and I bet even today that every kid I taught still knows exactly where the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, and all other internal parts are found. They loved knowing as much as I did. And we would take that kit apart and put it back together like it was an timed olympic event. I was and still am a weird little person. Thanks to Super Punch and Amazon.
