We all know the legend of how failed actress Lupe Valez wanted to always be remembered. She figured if not by her life then by her death she would always be known. So she dressed in her finest gown and took a bunch of pills with booze and lied down in her bed to die. Unfortunately the pills and booze didn't agree with the Mexican food she chose as her last meal. She got up, tripped and her head landed in the toilet and she died. They found her like that the next morning. Now no one will ever forget who Lupe Valez was.

fortunately she was in some fine films. i choose to remember her from that instead. check out Kongo, The Gaucho and Sqaw Man to see better reasons to remember Lupe ;)
