Great Movies



I am watching 'Uncle Buck' on TV right now. Love this other John Candy classic almost as much. The "big bear chase" scene never gets old.

You know I can't stand watching John Candy in the movies. The guy was a Canadian icon and I feel unpatriotic whenever I admit that but I always felt that his best work was on SCTV. The movies tried to make him too lovable. I prefer the John Candy that had that dark edge.

Who can forget "Polynesian Town"? Love. Love. Love SCTV! I miss it so bad.
