Canadians are Americans too! or North Americans or something like that.

We, in the United States, claim the name of two entire continents as what we will call ourselves. Some say it is not fair, but I think it was the British that started calling us that, so blame them.

Happy Canada Day from the most southern province, Florida ;)

Vive le Canada!

I shall have to make my vegetarian poutine and perhaps pick up some ketchup flavored potato chips today! And Molson, obviously.

Sigh, I remember the good old days when I used to be able to feel proud to be Canadian.
Will they ever come back?

You are just a gloomy guy VM. It's great to be a Canadian. Compared to any other place it's the best place to live in this world. Our complaints are trivial ones. You can always move to Somalia if you don't like it. Here, let me start your packing.

Congrats! Do you light fireworks and gorge on burgers and hot dogs too? :)

I just want Canada to be something like what it appeared to be all through my first forty years. I used to be delighted to say I was Canadian, and just want that to be the case again.
Canada has changed beyond recognition and it has committed/is currently committing grotesque and violent violations of human rights that give me a deep and abiding sense of personal shame.

Guess I'm just gloomy.
