It's Either Me Or That Crow
All crows may look alike but they don't act alike. There is a crow on our street that has swooped and attacked me many times. He is also the noisy one that wakes up the whole street in the morning. He will also be dead by the end of this week.
I have tried scaring him away with louder noises and firecrackers but he seems to think I am just rewarding his loud and terrifying behavior. I have no guy to shoot him with so I have decided to go 'old school' on his feathery ass and break out the slingshot.
I figure a few marbles up side his head will make for some much nicer morning for all of us. I will whiskey up to give him an advantage but be prepared gentle readers for the story of his death. He has mocked me long enough.

I think the best method might be a bb gun.
You better hope he don't bring his buddies. Do you know what a group or flock of crows is called?
That's right, it's a "murder of crows."
So think twice Tippie Hedren!
but but..I must try. And he has no buddies. They each have found another yard because even he is too loud in the morning for them.
Also,
Under section 34 of the BC Wildlife Act, it is against the law to kill a bird or its egg.
Crows be birds...
Crows are full of bad news and evil rumours. They are a scourge on subruban neighbourhoods and they are becomiong far too intelligent for my liking. Strike that blow for humankind against the crow scourge, Cal.
Beside, Pat, Cal is in Alberta where the killing of pesky varmints is encouraged by the provincial government.
YEH...what he said.
Well then Cal, do what you must!
But if you do the deed, you should honor his spirt by eating him...
spirt? That was supposed to be "spirit."
What about your cat???
Yeh you would think he had some use but no, he has been citified and lost his edge. I sent him out there today to take care of it but he first produced a list of demands that my lawyer assured me was 'undoable'.
If he's swooping at you its self defense isn't it?
No hawks in the area? Best thing to take care of noisy birds and tree rats aka squirrels.
I want to build a batmat flying costume like the one the coyote had and those wrist crossbow thingies so that I can swoop out of the sun and catch him in the throat as he is cackling his loud cackle - the crow, not the coyote.
even in jest (not sure you are jesting though). this isn't funny
so, Rose, basically I let this crow terrorize me.
I have to agree with Rose on this one. I thought you liked animals! I am very surprised that you would even consider killing it :(!
My money's on the crow. I made a really good slingshot for er... target practice. Really powerful, but not as accurate as you might hope. I cant even hit something the size of ...lets say...a neighbours pesky dog... You've got no chance of hitting a crow.. Good luck tho.
Obviously, this wily creature is point for a cephalopod invasion on your turf. Prepare yourself.
I KNEW IT. That is not crowing. That is morse code. Now he must die. Don't worry everyone, Tempo got it right, I probably won't come close to hitting it.
