All Kinds Of Awesome

This is one of my favorite movie speeches of all time. I like how the artist put this together. Another monologue you need to commit to memory.

I can here Mr. Brando speaking the lines. The design is all kinds of awesome.

I really have to learn this speech and then randomly recite it. possibly to a stranger to freak them out.

Brando was the best Jor-el/

Gemma if you do that choose wisely most geeks would turn to dust if a cute girl turned the geek on that hard without warning.

That's probably what the cue card looked like that Brando read from during shooting. If Brando didn't bother to memorize it don't feel that you have to.

I keep forgetting your middle name is El.

But MD, I am better that Brando. All the talent but half the ego.

And be careful Gemma, that guy you recite to just might be a geek and fall madly in love with you at that moment.

My middle name SHOULD be El, Budd. How does one get that legally changed anyways.

@cs- I was thinking more old person who wont stop talking to me on the bus, but i'm appreciating how it could be used as a chat up line. I'm off to find a hot geek...

I love the pic, but I have to be a pedantic geek and note that the words are taken from Jor-El's TWO speeches in the movie, the one on Krypton and his closing words in the "Teaching Kal-El in the Fortress of Solitude" sequence. It's such a wonderful movie, though -- still, in my opinion, the best superhero movie made yet.

You go Gemma. Hope you have much success.

Oh and Jaquandor, that first Superman movie was magic. I have such good memories of where I was when I first saw it.

Superman the Movie had its faults. But the casting of Jor-El was not one of them. No matter how much Donner ended up clutching his head at the time...
