I am a lifelong 'cat guy' but if I ever had a dog it would either be a mighty beast that is made up of other huge dogs. Like the Utonagan which is a breed of dog that resembles a wolf, but in fact is a mix of three breeds of domestic dog: Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd, and Siberian Husky. Now THAT is the canine of a 'Cave of Cool'.
But my favorite breed has always been the PUG. They delight me. They seem to love themselves more than is their due and I can appreciate an animal with that kind of a swagger. They also look like they are laughing AT me all the time...not WITH me mind you but AT me. Now I can have a relationship with a magnificent animal like that.

You could have BOTH... a team of Utonagans to pull the sled, and the Pug travels in the sled with you, wrapped in the folds of your buffalo coat.
The owner of this dog should be tied up so the Pug can bite him/her for doing this to it.
I think this pug likes this outfit a little more than he should.
