When I was a kid we got exilled to Bible Camp for a week to have the devile beat out of us. Well one day we were chopping some wood and as reward were given some Archie Comics to read. Half way through we all looked at each other and yelled..."THEY ARE BIBLE ARCHIES!" since after each story Archie would tell us how the lord was there to make us better people. Sacriledge! I still can't wash the indoctrination off me no matter how hard I scrub or how great I sin. Much like these pictures of re-imagined looks for Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead. Did anyone ever imagine Veronica as some ASIAN trust fund baby. Can't they just leave alone what don't need to be fixed. No little girl ever graduated to Watchmen who didn't first love that Archie shouldn't get too much sun. Even my own comic hating sister has been caught reading THE GOLDEN AGE and JSA - THE LIBERTY FILES after they were sent to her husband for his birthday. I have the photo proff Kim. Get used to the comics because when your childless brother dies your children will get over 12000+ comics and 3000+ action figures and will haunt you forever if they are damaged or sold or removed from their packages in anyway. Well the comics can be removed and read but then they go back into the bag.

Yeah, the redesigns are un-effin'-cool. I am not pleased.
Granted, Archie comics has needed an update for a looooooong time, but mostly in the writing department. They have long ago stopped being even remotely funny and their cultural references are always about 15 years behind.
But to change the artwork this much is a friggin crime!
