The New Wonder Woman Costume - With Pants

The girl has nice legs. Why does she need the pants to cover them? Blue boots? Oy Veh. Everyone knows Diana wears red boots. As usual, why fix what isn't broken? (click to enlarge).

I think that Cobie Smulders (from 'How I Met Your Mother') modelled the perfect live action Wonder Woman costume a few years ago. Perfectly functional and something that honors the character and doesn't turn her into a joke. The blue pants are a joke.

Actually I'm kind of surprised we're seeing this much this soon. Don't we usually get a hidden in shadow picture of some aspect of the costume before we ever see a publicity photo this bright.

Gotta say, I'll miss the strong legs too, but Hollywood likely wants this to be taken as seriously as possible, and lets face it, a star patterned bikini bottom has only a certain range of appeal (Mostly guys)

Plus I imagine, the more they cover up of her actual body, the easier it'll be to hide the stunt double scenes.

My only beef is those pipe cleaner arms. If we can't see some powerful leg muscles, at least let her has some strong forearms. But again, mass audience appeal, most guys would be turned off by an empowered woman who looks like she could bench press a semi truck, (regardless of whether of her prop and CG aided feats of strength in the film) and girls can relate to woman who has model sized arms like them.

I agree with you that this whole look seems 'focused grouped' to appeal to everyone so it just might appeal to no one.

The effects will make a big deal to how WW is percived in motion.

I hate to say that I will watch until I can watch no more.

It's horrifying, she looks like a bloody hooker, not a strong amazon woman. I can't look up to that. And latex, really? How is that more modern. Ugh, I totally lost all faith in this project when I saw this yesterday, but let's face it, of it's not animated DC screws it up.

Yup, this is gonna be a train wreck of mythological proportions (see what I did there?).

as some wise people over at my place when I published the pic last night - the costume looks like a cheep porn :( They've ruined the show even before it started.
