What Is the Kaydara?

It's a Matrix fan-film by two French brothers that looks shockingly good. Even I, with my intense hatred of The Matrix franchise, was both intrigued and impressed by the above trailer -- it looks a hell of a lot more interesting than anything in Reloaded or Revolutions, that's for sure, especially when you consider that all the special effects were apparently made by two dudes. The film is due in May

Man, if I had the $$$ I'd hire these guys to go full apeshit retard on an original film that I would write and design. They have such talent, why waste it on a fan film? Why re-hash when you can create something new?

That's it -- I'm going to find out how to do that shit myself and create my own feature film!

Sorry about the rant. I love fan films but it's a real heartbreaker to see ones that are so good -- almost professional -- and know that they can't make any money from it, can't show it on TV or film festivals.

Maybe for their next film...

It is pretty great isn't it? Why can't they be doing the 'Adventures of the Cave of Cool' which all kinds of octopus evil and UFO basis at the bottom of the ocean and ultra modern scuba suits and submarines as me and my cat army, joined by celebrities like Kat and Selena and Christina to save the world.

I've never understood all the fuss around the Matrix. After seeing the first one I was like "so what?" I had a meeting with the VP of Legendary many years ago when they were getting into production on Matrix 2 & 3. He told us that the scripts had no action in them they were just dialogue because the Wikileaks Brothers were geniuses. At the time I thought - "uh-oh".
