Oh dear lord. I had to save that so I could show my kids tomorrow...but now I'm rethinking it cause there are Carp that swim in the lake we always swim in.

Hmmm. Decisions decisions.

Erin, I find the snake much more objectionable and frightning to my sensibilities than the carp. Carp just swim near you and may brush up against you. It's the snake that takes it that one step too far and sinks his fangs into you.

Kal, I was implying that where there are carp there are giant man eating snakes.

Or at least this is what my kids will think...this unreasonable logic is not my own. Nope. Not at all.

HA HA..I never thought of that. Now even a group of children under the age of ten have more abiliy to connect the logical dots than I do. I deserve to get bit. If I ever went in that octopus, snake and carp infested water of course.

But didn't you show them that really scary old time ventriloquist and his dummy picture once? How did they survive that.

I feel your kids are too cool to just have the collective identity as 'the kids' or 'the children'. They are like a group of little superheroes. (Yeh, I read your stuff too)
