Preacher - Episode 2

I don't know about everyone else but I am totally digging the weirdness of this show even though I am more than familiar with the comic book source material. Just seeing the live action version is a treat. I can see it being infuriating for a person who has never had any interaction with the property. There are so many things you don't know are coming and that is good for you, if you like to see something cool and violent and blasphemous every week. Don't give up on this one. All your questions will be answered in time. All the fun is in the discovery.

I was fully ready to bitch about the show leaving me to wait a whole week between the pilot and the second episode but it was worth the wait. Maybe I can't watch it weekly because I am weak. NAW. I so wish I could binge on the entire first season. I feel spoiled knowing that the binge exists but not for every show out there.

I am enjoying seeing the relationships develop especially between Cassidy the Vampire and Jesse. Tulip is also a wicked badass chick and I love watching her defy expectations and take her anger out on the world with a smile on her face. That is some serious personal damage. If fact the show just wallows in it's suffering and why not. This is a world abandoned by a supposedly loving God. There can't be anything BUT suffering. But it's the good kind of suffering where bad people get what's coming to them and for that reason I can't look away.

I hope to find time this week to watch both Episodes 1 and 2.

That is one hard to get in to show, but worth the effort
so far. PS Hell on Wheels this weekend!

Amen, Brother Cal! I am enjoying the crap outta this! Oh, and the Saint starting it off! I know a lot of people were like "WTF is THIS about? 1881?" Trust me folks, the Saint is a REALLY important part of this story! Stick with it and all will be explained!

Yes, the Saint of All Killers was a nice addition.
