It's batshit crazy and should have never been put on film. That being said, that is EXACTLY what makes it great. You got to give full props to both Dolph and Frank for playing it straight up the middle and putting effort into the eternal struggle between He Man and Skeletor. Personally I think it's Langella's greatest performance. Add to that Courteney Cox when she was cute and James Tolkan as Lubick? What more could you want?
