Shallow diver Darren “Professor Splash” Taylor travels to Trondheim, Norway, to set a new world record by diving from 36 feet into 12 inches of water.
I thought they denied people from doing anything life threatening anymore - something that some stupid drunken frat boy may try to replicate. This certainly qualifies. It's not a 'record'. What this guy did was a 'stunt' - and a stupid stunt. I so wish he would have missed the pool.
Do people who jump from burning buildings and live because they land in a rose bush ever get considered for inclusion in that stupid book? Never. At least someone didn't create the biggest glass of green beer for yesterday or the largest flap jack for Pancake Tuesday.
It's all just so stupid.

I though that record was already held by Bugs Bunny. He dived 500 feet into a glass of water.
Oh, wait, that's right -- it was Yosemite Sam who eventually took the plunge. My bad.
That guy's no Bugs, or Yosemite Sam for that matter. (Where are those guys when you need them).
Guy looks like a serious jerk.
These stupid records just bring the jerk out of all of us, me included. So stupid.
