I used to love the show 'The Operation' that gave you an up close and personal look at medical procedures. I will always remember the one about the baby who had a blood clot in its brain so they had to take off a square piece of skull to get at it. They didn't use some fancy exotic medical tool to do this. It was just a simple hand dill and jigsaw - surgical ones of course, but the same as anything in your garage. The sound the piece of skull made when it was removed was just like you would expect. Watching surgeons work is endlessly fascinating to me.
This video shows the removal of a massive amount of bladder stones. How long had they been building up? The patient must have been in excruciating pain. If you are squeamish then please pass this clip by. If you are okay with seeing what goes on in the operating room then I know you will be riveted.
