As someone who doesn't give a crap about video games but loves Wes Anderson's films I think I enjoyed this as much as you did but for the opposite reasons. Life is funny sometimes.
Oh Cal. Why the Wes Anderson hate? He's the last great auteur. And Rushmore is the best movie ever! Also, I think there were several Zach Braff references in there. SO there.
I can just predict where he is going from up the street. His style is just too cute for me. I hate when I can re-write the movie in my head as I am watching it. He just annoys me so much. Nicolas (?) that does all those love stories where someone gets a life threatening disease after they fall in love get's my blood up just the same way.
Actually...I'd probably watch that.
