Really? With my captions too? That makes it all worth it. Like is like 'Far Side' awesome when people would clip the new cartoons from the newspaper and put on the staff room bulletin board. I feel famous. I am going to strut a bit down the street now.
They always make me smile and sometimes laugh out loud. It's a shame you can't hear me when I read them. I save the best and send them to my wife while I am at work.
I am glad to hear that. I never know if anyone will 'get' the joke.
I want to perfectly pair the words the animals are thinking/saying with that snapshot of a moment in time that tells a larger story that is instantly clear.
The reader should know what happened before the image and what will happen next.
These are really easy for me to do because I see a picture and BANG the whole story is there in my mind. If I can't do it like that I move on to the next picture that inspires me.
So feedback is awesome to hear.
