I always loved JLA comics when they travelled to a parallel Earth and faced off against the Crime Syndicate - the 'evil' version of the Justice League. Superman became Ultraman, Wonder Woman is Super Woman, Green Lantern's double is called Power Ring, Batman's twin is Owl Man, and the Flash's opposite is called Johnny Quick. It's an interesting idea to make beloved heroes into villains. Without a desire to do good, the syndicate conquers their world to enrich themselves. They would have total control if not for one person. The parallel Earth has only ONE superhero and that is Lex Luthor! The next animated feature from DC highlights those characters as well as the ultra-crappy Justice League Detroit which was a bad idea to begin with. It will be great to see how the good guys deal with the evil doppelgangers who are just as skilled and much more ruthless than themselves. You know a 'good' Luthor will mess with Superman's head and that relationship will be an interesting one to watch. I am psyched to see this come out.
