Old School Blogging

Sometimes something comes around on Tumblr that puts a huge smile on my face. This image was the first one that I ever printed up off the Internet all those years ago. The idea of a world were kitties were the center and could grow to mega-size was just too appealing to me to turn my back on. If you want to see the whole story of the 'Revenge of the Giant Kitties' you can find it HERE.

You can also check out my very first web page by going HERE. Don't judge me. Those days were the wild west and we did love the bells and whistles we added to our web pages to make them all sparkly.

Hahahahahahahahaha, I went to your first web page. I'm laughing WITH you, not AT you!

Seriously, I liked seeing the photos of you as a young man. What a cutie patootie!

Yeh, I was a bonnie dazzler back in the day. I am still beautiful only more grizzled. I am just so happy that I never put the flying toaster or the dancing baby on that first website.

Kal, I cannot judge you for your first web site. It looks an awful lot like my first page. Which is made worse by the fact that it was an AOL free web page. Thank God they got rid of those so there's no awkwardness that jump out and bite me on the rear.

I am never getting rid of that first page. It was made with love and future historians will need the material if they want my biography to be accurate.

Your first website is beautiful. It's like your blog but without the Blogger framework.

Kal- I was the 999,999th visitor according to a pop up. I'll let you know what I won! (joke) Loved the quotes especially, "The only good human is a dead human." Planet of the Apes. A lot of people hated that movie, but I loved it.

Also love all the TVs. You do look like you were in WWll with that cute mustache. I thought- "Aha, a radio guy working in Northern Africa fighting Rommel."

You are closer to the truth than you will ever know, Belle. We had to take that Rommel down. It was key to our liberation of Europe.

Vintage Cal! That is a classic fist site. I also like the kitty link. Pretty darn creative.
On a slightly related note, we recently got another rescue cat. He's a giant. Not as big as the one's in the photo, but at 26 pounds and the size of a dog, he's a giant in our house.

I like looking back and realizing I had the makings of a good blogger all along.

Have you posted any pics of that monster kitty of yours. He could use some captioning me thinks.
