TOLD YOU SO

One of my great agents out there, Sez, found this article under Cracked Topics about our eternal cephalopod enemy. It`s too large to just nick en masse so follow this link to see for yourself.

They come in three tasty varieties but there are several different ways they can mess you up, the least being the hooked tentacles on the Colossal Squid which uses this mechanism to literally rip you to shreds. Nice.

`

These things are freaking horror stories which people really knew little about until very early in the last century. Even the scientific drawings of them from an 1898 expedition scare the hell out of me.

"In the unexplored abyssal depths of the ocean are creatures more diverse and beautiful than any on the planet...and then there are the fifty foot disembodied penis-shaped monsters with crushing beaks and razor-lined tentacles."

Australian adventurer and animal torturer Steve Irwin (the crocodile man)always said he was most scared of sea animals because he was not used to being in the deep. He said if he was ever going to die, it would be from an ocean creature. Not very much later he swum over a giant Stingray and copped a poison barb right through his heart, killing him almost instantly.
With your concerns about slippery, tentacled sea beasts I'd stay out of the sea if I was you...

I have a dread fear of the sea. Even though it covers 7/10ths of the Earth, something always brushes against my leg like there is not enough room for both of us. If they are not going to respect my personal space then I am gonna hate them and hate them I do.
