Buildings of Disaster

I found these today on 'If Its Hip, Its Here'. They are representations of famous buildings by BOYM, the company that created these tabletop 'souvenirs'. Its pretty unique to remember these events by the buildings most associated with them. It sad really that I had no trouble naming the event that goes with each structure. They almost look like little Monopoly game playing peices.

"Since 1998, Boym has chosen to honor buildings as symbols of political or human catastrophe rather than for brilliant form or important client. Hence, their best-known work, Buildings Of Disaster. Made from a specially bonded metal, each architectural miniature cast monument is made in a limited edition of 500."

Bizarre!

Though most are a little too macabre, the OJ Car Chase is hilarious!
