WHY DO THEY HAVE TO KEEP WRECKING THE ENTERPRISE??

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated everything the fleet stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a "one man weapon of mass destruction."

Where did you get all that?

Stupidest plot line from nearly half their movies.. The Enterprise crashes or gets blown up..

REALLY wish they'd leave the poor ship alone.

Remember as McCoy told Data in 'Farpoint', "You treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home."

Because these writers can't think of anything else to do!

Hmmm, my guess would be: shameless emotional manipulation of the audience? Oldest trick in the book.

Yeah. Lazy writing.

Been there, seen that.

The 2009 movie was lazy writing
The hero's journey
cut n paste from various other Star Trek movies,TV, even the animated series
cut n past Star Wars
the usual action movie tropes
Star Crash and Turkish Star Wars were more original

Destroy it, please! That is the most hideous abomination ever. They took something graceful and sleek and came up with...that. Make it go away.
