So Where Were All My Bitches At??

I suffered from mouth pain all this week and not a one of you (well maybe one or two) sent out a message to me wondering how I was. Didn't my lack of posting worry anyone? Hurt. That is how I feel, hurt.

And in case any of you wondered, YES, Ms. Selena still cares and still looks fabulous. She kept up a brave face despite how worried she was for me. That's why she will always be my little trooper. God bless that Disney princess.

And here she is voting to make me Emperor of the World. A little self serving because she knows she was will be made my consort once I win the election but I do appreciate her getting out the youth vote. Good times with good people.

Lack of posting? Where?
I've been dropping by, kinda missing you at my site tho. I hope your pain has eased, my friend.

I'd just figured you'd taken another four day nap.

I would have asked but after my admission of cowardice about the dentist I was too ashamed to show my face.

You buyin' any of this balloon juice? No?

What can I say, I'm a selfish pratt.

Well, your Canadian fans are of course stereotypically reserved, Kal. We didn't want to pry.

I am such a coward that I went back today because I felt a stitch had slipped and he had to tell me to come back Monday like I was suppose to and stop being such a big baby. ME? I left before he lectured me on totatoes like my other Doctors do. I am not a good patient at all. I give these guys way too much respect at their ability to fix me like I only need a wrench screwed tighter.

I forgive you all and it IS a Canadian trait not to bother other people with their pain but I am not typical. I NEED your love. PRY..PRY AWAY.

I missed you and asked if you were okay on, "Face the Wrath of the Crimson Bolt." I commented twice and it is the second comment. See, we care! I hate it when there isn't at least 25-50 posts a day from you!

You still seemed to be posting. I'm sorry my friend. I'll carry your books to school every day this week. You are my virtual world what would I do without you?

You know we wish you well. I did try to relate in the Welcome to the Pain post. I know how uncomfortable mouth surgery is. I had a procedure a couple of yrs. ago. The horror....the horror.
I'm having sympathetic pain right now.

So it was you that made the ice cream taste all funky iZombie.

That's not my knife....nope, didn't do it.

I knew your pain and also knew if your posting was down, you were hurting. Get better quick, the world needs your posts.

Oh I am just phoning it in these days. I feel like I am anyways. All kinds of dumb posts that are about as deep as the cat's dish.

I haven't posted in two weeks because I tore something in my neck. Where was YOUR message of concern? Point, match, moi.

Kal said...

Why didn't you tell me? I would have sent you a theraputic pillow? How did you injure yourself. Where is your selfishness? You need to be bitchin' at us more. It's what we are here for in our little blog community (gated of course - have to keep the rif raf out you understand)

I think it's because dental stuff is a *huge* fear of mine (maybe others, too?); the thought of dental work makes me wince and cringe and tons of other uncomfortable movements...

Your pain was a matter of concern, I just mentally blocked it out and hoped you'd get through it quickly. Best thoughts to you!

I have no idea how I injured my neck (I'm formulating a good heroic story at the moment), but it basically sidelined me from being able to type for more than a few minutes at a time for the last week and a half. The worst thing was I also didn't have internet or TV for half of last week because of a storm. So I couldn't even distract myself.

On the plus side it did give me a lot of time to come up with new ideas. One of which I'll have to talk to you about when I've fully mended.

No internet or TV? That is like my worst nightmare. I look forward to hear more of this idea you had while rocking back and forth in a darkened room. I am sure it won't be weird at all. Glad you are on the mend, my friend.

Cora said...

Sorry, Kal. I haven't been by blogs much at all because I've been busy drawing illustrations for my own blog posts. It seems so selfish now that I've just said (typed?) it out loud like this! I'll go straighten out my priorities. Swearsies!

*hanging head in shame*

I honestly hope you're feeling better. ((((HUGS))))

If you keep creating fantastic posts like the ones you made last week you don't ever have to talk to me again...unless it's to sign my copy of your autobiography as Chicago's Tampon Lady. Looking forward to what you come up with next.

I often feel guilty that I don't comment more often on the blogs I follow. I follow you in Google Reader and when I take a week off from the computer myself, I see double digit posts from you in the Reader....I did not know anything was amiss.

I look forward to working through your backlog of posts....the Mary Marvel and Spider-Man posts will get extra attention from me...

Kal said...

Not your fault MOCK. I feel bad for people that follow me on 'reader' because I do post so much that it does become overwelming for them to follow me while keeping up with everyone else that they want to read.
