November 30, 1977 - Bing Crosby’s final Christmas special aired on CBS, featuring an iconic duet with David Bowie, “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy.” Fun fact: Bowie agreed to appear because, in his words, “I just knew my mother liked him.” When MTV launched, the performance became a popular Video at Christmas and a radio holiday classic.

Great song! Fun fact: My friend's dad wrote the counterpoint music for the "Peace on Earth" portion of this song! It's an interesting story that you can read about on the wikipedia page. :)
