Canada Just Banned This Popular Drink

 

Well I hate to say this but there was no way that a product called SOYLENT would ever succeed. For some reason that name should never be associated with nutrition if you get my point.

 

Soylent is no longer being sold in Canada after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency recently declared that the drink doesn't meet certain requirements for a meal replacement. Rob Rhinehart, CEO of Soylent-maker Rosa Foods, announced the news in a blog post on Soylent's official website on Tuesday.

"The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recently informed us that our products do not meet a select few of the CFIA requirements for a 'meal replacement,'" the post reads. "Although we feel strongly that these requirements do not reflect the current understanding of human nutritional needs, we respect the CFIA's regulations and will fully comply with any regulatory action they deem appropriate."
