Mike The Headless Chicken

The legend of Mike the Headless Chicken began in 1945 when farmer Lloyd Olsen was preparing to cook a rooster and accidentally left it without a head - yet the bird continued to peck and eat as if nothing had happened.

When I first got online during the days of dial-up SHAW had a page of fun links on Friday that searched the then young Internet for me to find interesting things. THIS one was one of my early favorites. Mike's story is the cool kind of story that you want to tell other people about and that is my criteria for any good blog post.
