Childhood's End (Part II)

 

So if you are watching this mini-series you know what the aliens look like and it's kinda the last thing one would expect. No wonder it took 15 years for them to show their faces to these stupid humans. Maybe they could have disguised themselves as kittens with the decade and a half they had to make an appearance. I know a bunch of cosplayers that could have made them look like superheroes.

 

Having the aliens look like mythical demons complete with wings and forked tails. It's kind of goofy and I hope it doesn't provide so distracting that I hate wasting my time. I hope there is a cool REASON why the Overlords have to look like the Devil.

 

 

Now that the world lives under a virtual utopia, there are still those who question the Overlords. It of course doesn't help that they look like the Devil. That still sorta throws me that they revealed that. It seems like the kind of reveal for the finale. But being devils means that they of course are up to no good eventually. How they screw with humanity after lulling us into complacency will be interesting to watch.

Then the children start acting all weird and begin exhibiting dangerous powers. Add to that all the animals that the Overlords are collecting and we have us the making of some weird Space Ark.
