For a time I was really into the three part story I had percolating in my head for several years. I finished my first drafts but that was years ago and I have never gotten back to them since. But I did create these posters (created mostly with found and traced or computer clip art images) to show what the main characters looked like and a little about the story. It was called SPELLBOUND and tr4ust me, the movies eventually made of this property would have had them both cheering and crying in the aisles. Maybe one day I will go back to it now that I found out that TWO of my Facebook friends have books they have just published on Amazon. Since I know them I for sure have to read their stuff. I do that for everyone of my friends who has realized the dream of seeing something they have created in print.
Then I went on to collages which I turned onto a huge class project that gave the kids something to work on when they were done other work. Once the poster sized paper was full of images I would laminate them. I always asked the kids who didn't want to keep their art to give it to me so I could show the next year's class how it's suppose to look when it is finished. In all those years I never had ONE kid want to give up their personal collage. True works of art. No two will ever be the same because everyone has different things that appeal to them.
And finally these days my art is my blog.

I really like your herd of coloured kitties. Did you do that with block printing or something like that? And of course, I've already told you that I made collages too back in the day when I was young -- they were so much fun to do!
Weren't you taking some kind of photoshop course? What happened with that? The future of art is computer art and photo manips, as far as I'm concerned.
I was seriously thinking that in the summer. Red Deer College has a great summer art program and they had glass blowing last year and that is something I have always wanted to do. But yeh, computer photoshop would be the way I need to go next. AFTER I figure out how to print a book of my captions.
Those kitties started with a cut out of the body then I used pastels to color in the individual kitties and try to make them all different.
