This is very cool except for one small feature that would drive me crazy. THE HANDS. I am sorry but MY Rom has mittens for hands. Not articulated fingers. It's one of the things about his look that makes him more than just any old robot. I can't explain it to you if you don't know. You know? I mean every second figure these days comes with multiple hands so why not this one too to give me the option of returning his hands to their proper state?
But he does come in this box with these other figures which is an amazing tribute to these characters from the 80s. If only the comic was as good. I don't want to talk about it though. The modern return of ROM has been anti-climactic at best. Why can't HE be in Guardians Of The Galaxy 3? I have hope because James Gunn has vision. Look at that set - Visionaries? Micronauts? MASK? GI JOE? Transformers??

I totally agree. Those hands do not belong on ROM. If the figure was a lot bigger (at least 8" tall), I'd get it and mold some proper hands for it. As they are, too small for me.
I hear you. I abandoned 4 inch figures back when the first line of Star Wars figures came out. What did I know back then. Painted on cloths?? Bah
Well I'll say this, at least the ROM figure looks other wise like the original as opposed to the horrible anime inspired rebooted version which I hate from head to toe.
