I find it impossible to believe that the toy marketing geniuses of Disney would make such an error. They must have a different strategy in mind. Probably didn't want "Baby Yoda" merchandise to undermine their other Christmas sales. In 2020 there will be lots of "Baby Yoda" junk to buy separately and people will still shell out the big bucks for it.
