Or that they're were only 13 channels on the dial and that 3, 4, and 9 were all NBC.

We had 13 but one was nothing and 12 was all French. But we didn't know any better. Sometimes I think it's too much to absorb and I hate making choice about with things I want to watch or read or research or write about sometimes. It's a lot of work this social media. Remember when social media was just you and few of your classroom buddies. And if you expected a phone call you had to be at home to get it. If you weren't no one could find you.

I figured they still did this in the Northland wilderness. I know they still roll up the sidewalks at 7pm in all of Canada.

Gawd, you all lived in the lap of luxury! We only got ONE channel when I was a kid and it was CBC! Black and white CBC!

Yeh, I felt so special when I had my own black and white TV with the 13 channels because me and my Dad figured out how to spit the cable from upstairs. I even had my pink princess phone. I was stylin' back then.

J-Swim - I remember in Scouts we had to have our mothers sew a time into our underwear in case we got lost and needed to phone home. Where we would find a pay phone in the woods was overlooked but BE PREPARED was our motto.

I remember getting channels for the US on certain summer nights. I remember all all night Hogan's Heroes marathon that was playing while the station updated people in North Dakota about a heavy storm on it's way.
