Nobody drives a chariot the way Francis X. Bushman could!

Looks like Gordie Howe left a lasting impression on Alexandr Yakushev!

How did you girls know who those were pictures of. You recognize Russian hockey players from the 70s?

The 1972 Canada-Russia Hockey Summit was a formative part of my life! How could I NOT recognize Howe and Yakushev?

I don't know what Tundra Bunny's excuse is. Who the hell is Francis X. Bushman?

So I was right. You are both weird.

FYI, the 4th picture down looked like a still shot from the 1925 silent film, "Ben-Hur", starring Francis X. Bushman and Ramon Navarro. Bushman actually had experience driving chariots in his free time, so he was a natural in the movie (the final race scene is exhilarating to watch).

The 1972 Canada-Russia Hockey summit was a formative part of my life too -- I was only 9 years old, but I was mesmerized by Vladislav Tretiak! As I watched the Soviets skate circles around the ham-fisted Canadians, I KNEW this was hockey at a completely different level of near perfection.

For the record, I am not weird -- just super intelligent with a fantastic memory!
