With the success of ARROW on the CW, many other pilots involving superheroes are being developed for next fall. One in the pipeline is the show AMAZON about the early years of Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman. Since the failure of the last Wonder Woman series by David E. Kelly, this one will need a fresh approach and exciting actors (like in ARROW) in order to succeed. I have seen a lot of young actresses mentioned for the main role but none except Phoebe Tonkin have stood out for me.

They say she was the 1st choice for the new CW Amazon series but had to pass due to a prior commitment.

If you saw that leaked pilot, you'd know that the actress was the least of its problems. Yikes.
Right now I'm thinking of all the other shows we could make out of DC Comics characters without using their actual names.
