Tuesdays From The Toybox - King Zor

Next to the Great Garloo, King Zor was one of the greatest toys ever put out by Ideal Toys. I would be happy to just see one live in it's original box. I have been cruising through the Captain Action Facebook page and finding all kinds of great photos of old toys. This is the reason I have to attend a good US Toy/Comic Convention one day.

I am currently building extra storage room into my time machine - which I am only going to use to go back to purchase all these great Ideal and Marx toys.

that is what we need a time machine... so many things i want to re-get... if i bought stuff then it's okay for me to take it from myself now... right.

What a blatant Godzilla ripoff!

Holy crap! I wanted that so bad when it came out, but my parents wouldn't buy it for me. I had to cut lawns to make my own money to buy a Robot Commando, which came out after this I think.

Yeah, Debra, it pretty much was a Godzilla rip-off, but we didn't give a damn at 12 years old. Bring on the giant dinosaurs!

Robot Commando was a wicked cool toy too. Voice activated commands.
