These Punk Kids Today

I love these videos of kids reaction to ancient technology. That is technology from the 70s and 80s. This time they react to a computer I actually used in school. It WAS crappy and boring compared to all the bells and whistles of today's devices. The only games you could play were Oregon Trail and chess.

I was thinking how fast technology changes. When I was growing up, I could work a radio and a television and a record player because those were unchanged in decades. People seemed to be happy with what they had. Now people are sad if their cellphone is not the latest version despite the fact that the one they have now can do 99% of the stuff the new one can do. Only the new one comes in a red case as opposed to a green one.

Reminds me of the first skeleton pirate we see in "Pirates of the Caribbean" who tells Jack "You know nothing of Hell!"
