The Best Of 2018 - Part 4

I have been saying this all day in my best Nicole Kidman voice.

Seven episodes and less than five comments.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone.
You suck worse than Bloor.

I would have loved to be in any theatre when the cheering began.

Today I start my 11th year blogging. I am proud of this singular achievement. In ten years I made an effort daily to keep a record of all the cool things I found on my travels around the Internet. That simple idea has keep me going and interested all this time.
Somedays there is nothing I enjoy more than crusing through my archives. I have met amazing people who like me are creative and interesting and vocal about the things they love and the things they don't. They are my people. To everyone who ever came by and left a comment I thank you for your validation. An artist really likes to hear that other people appreciate the effort. I wish there as a way to print all these pages into yearly volumes of each post I ever did. I sometimes wonder how long these sites still exist after the person who created them has died. I hoped that it would never go away and that woud make me immortal and I can live with that.
"It all started with this idea...."

1985 Soviet Russia Radio Banned This Music For The Following Reasons

No Donna Summer? I am sure she will survive the snub. (see what I did there?). Now that would be a great joke but Gloria Gaynor did I Will Survive - Thanks Simon B. I must be losing it if I start forgetting my Disco divas.

One of my favorite albums of the year.

Might be the best origin of Spider-Man movie ever, Thrilling and beautifully animated with a heart as big as the legend of Spider-Man. This movie opens up a possible glorious future for this kind of animated storytelling and for the Spider-Man Universe which is vast.

Congratulations on 10 years of blogging, Cal. The amount of quality entertainment you post on a regular basis is a Herculean effort and an inspiration to us lazy arses who can't compare with you. Keep up the great work my Canadian brother and have a very Merry Christmas!
( I'd forgotten about that Donna Summer /Gloria Gaynor confusion. LOL. )
