You Humans Almost Give Me Hope
When the scumbags from Westboro Baptist Church showed up to protest at one of the funerals for a victim in Newtown [because they believe God is punishing Connecticut for legalizing gay marriage] this is what they ran into… Hundreds of Hells Angels, cops, and firemen that were there to make sure they couldn’t spew their hate.

This makes me feel good and puts a little more faith in people back in me.
I've participated in counter protests against Westboro down here. Last time they were in Dallas they protested a Jewish Community Center and we stood between them and the Center. Outnumbered them about 20 to 1. I have friends in the Patriot Riders which is a Motorcyle Group that blocks them from getting close to funerals for fallen soldiers.
Its touchy to participate in. They try to bait you into punching them and have lawyers on retainer to sue anyone that physically moves against them. Hard to resist taking a swipe when you're face to face, though.
Good. Those hateful bastards are a blight on America.
And that is in a country with many many hateful bastards. Someone had to rise to the top in that sludgepit.
