From the site, Cinema Sins, we have everything that is wrong with The Hobbit in 4 minutes. Of course you can take any movie and break it down to find things that don't fit or make sense. It doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the film but it's just the kind of stuff that I notice and say outloud before being 'shushed' by the lady in front of me at the theatre.

I just discovered this page over the weekend. Fun stuff, even for movies that I likewise think are good. Its the kind of stuff I usually blather on about after the movie is over anyway.

I wonder if Peter Jackson or George Lucas actually watched these critiques and went back to fix things before the Extended DVD comes out. I think that 'glows when orc are around' flub was a major mistake and one I immedately noticed when I saw the movie for the first time.
Yeah, Peter Jackson is crying all the way to the bank. WTF does he care?
Integrity...for his artistic integrity. After all he shot hours of extra footage for the extended versions of LOTRs.
I noticed about two thirds of the things he'd pointed out...I quickly and righteously dismissed them. This is a Fantasy film...like many other films it requires the suspension of disbelief... I'm no critic...but this guy...is. That's all he is.
