I wonder if this was a script that had been in circulation during the 90s during that "Die Hard on an X" period of action movies, but got shelved for over a decade after September 11th.
There is an identical white house attack show staring Channing Tatum so this must be the action movie theme of the summer.
I've seen the trailer a couple of times and I just cannot buy it. It's like they took the scripts to all of Steven Segal's old films and mashed them up with all the political thrillers and a dash of 9/11 paranoia and came up with this nonsense.
